Check the warranty online, I’ve had one replaced for free but if it’s out of warranty you can get one for £70. You do it through your Microsoft account.

Did your controller not come with paddles? It should’ve come with a wee case with different accessories including paddles.

Yeah, I checked when it broke. 

I got the white one without the accessories for about £100. 
Saved about 50 quid at the time.

Aye, it did fall off my lap onto the floor a couple of times, but not really much of an excuse. 
I've had stick drift with 3 of the standard ones as well, so i'll defo be buying a non xbox brand next.

Reason for the switch was the Nintendo exclusives aye, I’ve never really played any of their games - Zelda etc.

It feels like a good price at £400 odd but then I’m seeing the price of everything else that goes along with it

You could buy a switch oled 2nd hand, see if you like the back catalogue of games and then sell it for the same price a year later and decide if you want switch 2

It wanted me to do some secure boot thing to my motherboard for the anti cheat and folk were saying when they activated it it was bricking their PCs.
