If Gordon did what Schwolow did at the Rangers disallowed goal
this thread would be in meltdown. We really do hate our own.

He's been past his sell by date for a while. Mind when he got nutmegged against Ross County from about 40 yards?

Look, I appreciate a wee troll as much as the next man so I have a lot of respect for Scott’s most recent posts on this thread.
That being said, we cannot get ourselves into a situation in which we are waiting for 46-year-old Craig Gordon’s comeback after he was out for 9 months because he picked up his child and put his back out. Sometimes the decision needs to be made to move someone into the coaching/upstairs role. He will make a fantastic coach, and maybe even be involved higher up in the club. We probably have to give up on the idea of him playing meaningful minutes for Hearts, unfortunately. And I grew up with Craig Gordon as my idol, he is probably my favourite Hearts player ever.

He’s already said this is his last season, bro. He’s already made his decision to retire. What you talking about 46? Your whole post is null and void

Btw, even if he was to barely play, get him signed up for another year.

He’s had a great game but that goal shows why this should be his last season. Go out still a good keeper.

He was class but the game has moved on from his kicking game.

Too slow reacting to the 3rd, but he saved Scotland from a tanking. Still have full confidence in him.

What a legend man, even though he should have saved the third he was still motm for Scotland last night.

Reflecting on it, 42 year old, not played since last season.
The legend was sharp as fuck, super saves against some of the top up and coming players in Europe.

I thought he was unsighted at the 3rd goal. I only watched it once, so maybe he wasn't.

I'd let him off the 3rd goal, he made that many important saves early it was ridiculous. Considering he's not played for so long, he's basically cemented himself as number 1 again.
If he wanted to stay on another year with us I'd keep him as back up. |
