I think it’s premature to call it a day on his full professional career at end of the season. Go play for st Johnstone when they get promoted next year

All depends on whether he has the same motivation to play for anyone other than Hearts at his age. Sure he stays Riccarton side of town, does he want a 3-4 hour daily commute to Perth and back for a relegation battle at 43?

I’d definitely keep him as 2nd choice if he fancies it.

I've seen him in Balerno with a Range Rover, that was a few years back, though.
