Neither rangers nor celtic have players who have been involved in a title race. Celtic have walked the league for years and winning the league in March doesn't give you experience of needing to win matches after the split just to keep up.

Said the same thing a few weeks back

Kasper schmeichel, Kieran Tierney, Calum mcgregor, alex oxlade chamberlain, James forrest have all been involved in title races.

We can't rely on them "being shite" boys.
They're only going to get better, not worse.
We need Shanks back, pronto.

Liverpool won the league by 18pts, so you can remove Oxlade Chamberlain. So, 4 players in the whole squad? And a grand total of one season where it went to the wire, and then they lost to rangers.

Shhmeichel is old and fat anaw so you can discount him.

Ox was involved in a few title races with Liverpool tbf. Lost them though.

Ox is included. So that's 5 more than us.

Think there's far more pressure on Celtic and Rangers and it's a totally different pressure than they are used to. They are losing the league to a team with a fraction of their budget and who are rank outsiders. It's a massive embarrassment for them if they don't catch us. Both would be far happier losing the league to one another.

Gordon was involved in the title race with Cheltic.
Schwolow has already spoken of being in a title race when he was in Germany with Freiburg.
Borchgrevink was in a title race with Valerenga.
Kabangu was in one with USG.

But apart from that, I’m sure your logic here is sound.

Good shout with Gordon and Kabangu. Might need more information on Freiburg's title tilt Didn't know about Borch but good to know if true.

Schwolow is the only one getting any sort of meaningful gametime (the famous Freiburg title challenge of course ), but tbf Gordon will still be a big influence on the dressing room so that one is definitely infleuntial, forgot about big Craigy.

The Celtic players I mentioned are all the big hitters (Forrest now a squad player but still lots of gametime and influential).

The only other season where oxlade chamberlain took part in half of Liverpool's games they were fourth and out the title race by February.

It’s easier said than done but if the players think about it simply, they have shown the ability to beat every team apart from Motherwell this season. They’ve beaten almost all teams in the league both home and away and most importantly they’ve beaten our competitors both home and away. We are now the only team in Scotland to be undefeated at home in the league.

That’s what the players need to concentrate on - not whether they have been in a title fight before. They have the quality and the ability to beat anyone anywhere. It’s easier said than done, but concentrate on that and we won’t go far wrong.

I'd dispute that. He was an important player and it was a title race. Also 2013-2014 with Arsenal.

I just realised that you can include Hatate, Meada, Carter-Vickers, Alistair Johnston, Antony Ralston as Philipe Clement was top of the league with Rangers with a handful of games to go.

Also any players playing during the season Gerrard won.

All been involved in title races. Also Martin O'Nell and Shaun Maloney have been involved in title races in management/coaching.

Jota has a league winners medal but wouldn't say it was a title race in the years he won.

Doesn't matter a fuck let's be honest, wee chamberlain has been an also ran in every squad he's ever been in anyway so don't worry about it.

We've goat the mentaliteh in the dressing room and in the dugout to see it through.

Given his previous clubs, to be schlebbing about with celtic after failing to get a proper club in January shows he's a loser.
