Christ the standards on here have managed to drop again.

Gave his all in a Hearts jersey but won’t be missed by me personally.

Hopefully JTA have a filter for ‘not sucking up to opposition players at every given opportunity’

As I can’t be fucked with his hair ruffling.

Do you think he’d re-sign with us if we included a West Wallabee Wanderers release clause? Quite Good

It’s a random one because one thing he does very well in possession is turn his way out of bother so clearly he’s technically capable.

Can only assume he manages this as it’s low speed/impact because at the hint of doing anything dynamic he does look like any part of his lower body might just disintegrate.

Rumours Hearts fighting pretty hard to keep hold of Cammy. Even offering him the captaincy.

3 MLS teams showing interest.

I like Cammy and he didn't get all the no1 league rankings for tackles and interceptions by being a bad player.

But I'd made my peace with all of Cammy, Beni and Leonard moving on and the chance of a whole new MF. With quarterback Renaud being the first.

I'm not sure he's captain material and if we're fighting hard I'm not sure I'd be happy with some 8k-10k deal. There'll be more developed MFs available at that kind of spend.

Loved Cammy but think time to say good luck on your travels.

Honestly he’s one of the first I’d kick out the door, but with Shankland Halkett and Leonard all away/out, we may need one more season of squad continuity.

For us to take things to the next level he needs gone sharpish though. We can’t have Motherwell having Lennon Miller last season and Elliot Watt this season and us having Devlin, Magnusson and Mcentee all kicking about midfield places.

(Mags is young and will kick on though and Mcentee will become a sub, so that leaves Devlin as the one getting in the way of things)

That exposes your football IQ though and neatly symbolises what we need to eradicate from our club.

If we're getting up to 8k-10k pw, guess work but not sure what else fighting hard to keep could mean.

Then I'd rather see us go up to 12k and try to land Bailey Rice. Out of contract from Rangers and no transfer fee needed, so we can go further on wages.

He's a left sided deep lying DMF, him and Renaud could be a great double act. Both comfortable on the ball passing short and long which we never really had with Beni and Cammy.

Big clubs in Germany, Holland and England looking to land Rice but can't see any giving him first team football right away. He's not going into the Aston Villa first team.

We could give this guy an immediate platform and make a lot of money on him. Would be a big upgrade on Cammy.

We can’t be held to ransom by Cammy Devlin man Laugh no way he should be captain either as if he stayed I’d be expecting him to be a squad player.

If he stays then fair enough, the experience is handy, but we can’t have our pants pulled down yet again by a guy who’s got one foot out the door. Learn the lesson of Shankland.

If Devlin stays, we have the most effective ball-winning midfielder in the country for a few more seasons. If he goes, the coma-inducing discourse about him on here ends. Win-win.
