I agree that we are doing our little bit in trying to create positive political space for the overwhelming majority who rent their labour (the 99% or at least 95%) but the ferver for the cultural revolution will always begin in the schemes and the fields. Ironically, Reform/Restore etc.. are doing a much better job at following a typical Maoist strategy of which those who profess to represent the interests of the worker could learn from (sadly most of them are frauds). As for wasting precious time and energy on your Mags/Fraggley type people - remember the line that 'it is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it'. Some people are asking why the folk they stand beside are now saying British nationals will be remigrated when all they wanted was tougher stance taken on people who are here illegally. They can’t be seen to side with the fucking LEFTIES tho and the brainrot slop they’ve been fed about the threat of Marxist communism still burls round their heids.

The penny is dropping for some and I dunno how useful it is to continue to batter folk who might slowly be seeing things differently. At the same time we probably can’t be patient about it and also not suggesting we all hold hands and sing koombaya but there are folk in my real life who I thought were lost to it all who have come back round just through chatting about it and that. They’re still not full on socialists or anything like they but they’re anti fascist and for me at this moment that’s all I’m wanting folk to be.
