Really fancy byres road/kelvingrove but I'm not a millionaire.
So much cheaper than Edinburgh though just a shame I won't be living in the same city as the famous NLTF!!
Partick or Kelvinside.
It's all fucking dicey though as you'll probably be in a tenement and you're relying on a dozen or so neighbours all being decent in that they don't make a fuckload of noise and don't mind if you do.

Couldn't go back to communal living.
Ye my bird worked at Partick and thought it was alright. Fairly similar to somewhere like leith walk?

Aye, it's similar to leith walk. A fair mix of locals and immigrants, but with more academics due to proximity of the uni. Loads of decent pubs and restaurants.
Kelvinside is northwest of st george cross. Still clinging on to the west end and doing all it can to have fuck all to do with maryhill.

Thought you lived in Leith
Sterling, I live in Baillieston / it's actually not bad tbf
Scott missing the tongue in cheek aspect of my Giffnock post It is a very nice area though, no question about that. Very much the equivalent of a Blackhall, but similarly lacking in much atmosphere for people under the age of 40 (lol which is why you like it Begbie lol)

Imagine living somewhere that Falkirk or Hamilton is the big town near you, fucking grim.
Couldn't imagine living somewhere where the cultural and nightlife hotspot is the Rangers/Celtic supporters club and having to travel to travel miles out of town for "the big shop". It's so depressing, and it's not like it's even living rurally. Just shithole satellite towns for workers who's careers didn't improve as quickly as the rate at which their family grew.
