Do you think this women should have been offered asylum?

It's a disgraceful tale. Muslim women unhappy that she used the same drinking cup as them - leads to an argument and her saying:

Not sure why their Supreme Court let her go (I mean, I do, but not sure of the legal basis) but at least it's now happened.

She is exactly the sort of person we should be offering asylum to. All the better if it bams up certain elements of certain communities living here.

I get that it may cause difficulties for embassies abroad but these people hate us anyway and if it wasn't this it would be something else - maybe a drawing that they found objectionable.

I'd like to see us offering asylum to persecuted members of religious minorities, which includes her. Some interesting selective outrage here, though.
