Preferably nothing that sheds too much, good with kids. I know a lot of a dog's temperament is down to training and upbringing, but something that's naturally on the calmer side would be good.
Are pugs not inherently unhealthy because of their noses? Something about them not being able to breathe properly? Don't want to be a part of the fashionable dog trend if the poor things don't have a chance of a healthy life tbh.
Yeah. They generally need operations throughout their lives to allow them to breath properly which seems a bit cruel to me. French bulldogs are the same.

Will look to see if I can find any reputable breeders. This boy with the JR was happy to just drop it off on his way to work today with no paperwork or anything. The bursd only texted him yesterday morning

Pugs also get an itchy bum disease and regularly scrape their bums along your floor.

Always liked Border Terriers - attitude, mischievous, and endearing. They almost always look like they thoroughly hate your guts but inevitably you just want to give them a wee scratch under the chin.

Easy pozzy from me. Absolutely wonderful dugs. Them, Cocker Spaniels and Greyhounds are my 3 favourite breeds.

Not saying he isn't dodgy, but if they're not pedigree as the parents don't have papers, he wont have any for the pups.
