I don't understand international football now, so can someone explain to me in idiot-proof terms why Scotland now play Israel about once a month?

We had Israel in the First Nations League group, then in the playoffs following that Nations League for the Euros,  then inexplicably we were drawn with them again in the next Nations League group and now been drawn with them again in the World Cup qualifiers :Monty But

Turnbull is playing his way into the team like. Get Fraser in the bin.

Don't think Fraser is who he would take the place of, I'd pick Fraser if he's fit because he has pace. I'd say he is a straight swap for someone like Christie or you can take away one of the diddy strikers.

Eh nah.

Turnbull in the squad for John Fleck or Olly Burke definitely.

Turnbull is a superb player though.

I thought our best performance came with Christie in that role v Serbia. I'd take Jack out of that team, move McGinn back and put Turnbull in behind Christie for more creativity. Has Fraser done a single thing since his last Scotland game?

I know that won't happen like but he has to be in the squad at the very least. Earned it.

Fraser has got real pace. Without Forrest we are crying out for an option like that.

Forget about the Serbia game, the two Scotland games after that we were poor and not able to break down the opposition.

As you correctly pointed out in the last Scotland game Fraser played he was man of the match.

Get Turnbull in, but this idea of getting rid of Ryan Fraser is just radge.

Will we stick with the back 5 for the Euros? McGinn, McTominay and Armstrong in midfield with Christie/Turnbull and Fraser playing off Dykes is a strong looking front 6 for me, but might leave us with a fairly ropey back 4.

Could always bring Jack in for Christie/Turnbull or Armstrong to make it a bit more solid I suppose.

We've got a tonne of options now and it's brilliant.

Bizarrely we've got lots of options at CB all of a sudden Warnock Tierney and Mctominay can play in a back three, Gallagher has been a revelation and Mckenna and Cooper are ripping it up at Leeds and Forest.

I can't see him changing from a back 5, particularly with the teams we're going to play, but would be good to see us try out a couple of new players and styles in any friendlies or games we have in the build up. Turnbull is definitely someone that deserves a shout and so is Gauld I would say as well.

Jack is in the form of his life right now. Gerrard adores him and he's scored two goals of the season recently.

Aye Clarke won't be making any changes. How much of Gauld have you actually watched? Skeptical about him being international quality.

The last run of fixtures was really worrying. The results after the Serbia game should be an alarm bell. Even with all these attacking options we really can't score. For me dykes shouldn't be nailed on starter

Who would you have in his place?
