Just watched the fight now. Felt mendes was well in control even after being breathless after about 3 minutes.

He had him on the ground for fucking ages but mcgregor could take the elbows and he just couldn't get that submission. I think Mcgregor was fairly lucky with his opponent tbf, i don't think he'd have been able to catch Aldo like that. Or at least Aldo would be able to take the hits.

Mcgregor looked fairly sketchy on the ground tbf, but if mendes is one of the better wrestlers i'm not sure what you'd need to do to submit him.

That was Ronda saying she would 'prolong the suffering' for Corriea as well. Fairly sure she could have had her inside 15 seconds if she wanted.

When Corriea rolled backwards she could've easily got on her and won it right there, it was telling she held back to keep throwing punches. Right from the start it was left jab with quick right cross behind it. She had one intention and that was to hurt her.

Will no doubt still be up so will probably watch but the undercard is poor.

Think the Jedrzejczyk fight will be a topper, always like watching Uriah Hall fight & I've absolutely no idea how the Rousey fight will pan out but I'm fairly confident it'll not be over in 16 seconds or anything daft like that.
