I know it’s sand for mono blocks. Probably that or a sand and cement mix for slabs maybe

These are bigger square ones probably about 0.5m2.

From what I can see sand and cement seems to be the Google answer as well Fart Smelly

Is there an off the shelf product that would do the job?

Just a strong mortar mix. I usually mix 3 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement and then just a wee bit water so you can trowel it into the joints without staining the slabs. Any off the shelf mortar from B&Q etc would do the job fine but it's cheaper and you'll get it stronger if you buy the sand and cement separately.

You can get the resin stuff that you just brush into the joints for easiness but you really need to get it compacted into the joints, or it fails after 1 or 2 years.
