Great signing, who was behind it? Naismith or Savage? Either way it was definitely a high point for either of them

He’s so good but seems to give a lot away.
Just needs to keep improving, he was the only player tonight who looked like they’d force something. More suited to having freedom to attack, would be really good in a team with natural wing backs. Needs to work on final ball, it’s very smash and hope.

Would be brilliant in a football / American football hybrid where you just have to dribble from one end to the other. Defensive positioning is becoming a joke and his crossing is really poor if he has to do anything other than smash it along the ground.

Guys who excel in certain things but need to come on in other areas. Penrice a good player for me just need to put more protection on the left to let him bomb forward because none of our plers can do that. I’d probably play him in the wing anaw tbh

Absolute non football idiot thread.

Not many big teams want a left back who can't defend.

Cochrane got a good move, so penrice could as well.
Might find it difficult with the “being Scottish” penalty tho.

Cochrane was better than Penrice

I liked Cochrane but similar level of player. Penrice looking a lot better going forward so he’d fit well into a team looking for a lwb.
They’re hardly available in abundance anaw.

After Shanks Cochrane was comfortably our best player last season. Much better player than Penrice.

I think Penrice will be a big player for us when we get our house in order.

Cochrane started off really well but thought he was bang average last season tbh, fell off a lot.

Could do worse than see how he gets on in midfield for a few games at the moment

Pondy won't like this Cochrane chat
Penrice has a good engine on him and does some good work going forward, but he's a liability at the back, and that's really hurting a struggling team. |
