Not a comment on the specifics of that story in any way, but the High Courtis absolutely rammed with historical sexual abuse cases. All it takes is 2+ people to come together and make similar allegations (no other corroboration needed), and if they're believed your life is over.
Boy here just got 9.81 years for sexual assault on 2 10yr old girls - touching through clothes on one and penetration (vaginal & anal) on the other. Â Also attacked one of the girls' uncle with an axe - broke in and suffered severe head injuries. Â Because he had served near 5 yrs on remand they gave him exactly 2 yrs less a day, which means he doesn't go to the pen. Â Sick fuck got lucky. Â No doubt if he had gone to the big hoose he'd have topped himself.

The SG seemed to be living in some idealistic world were people never made up crimes, as much as it should be easy for sex offence victims to get justify it still needs to be strict enough that the psycho's out there cannot make up crimes and have people locked up. There was at least 3 made up rapes last year were the antagonists got about 6 months each.
At the same time there are some disgusting individuals escaping justice for years. Just yesterday a fire fighter was done for raping 10 year old girls he rescued from fires back in the 90's

It wasn't exactly difficult . Everyone I knew called it the second he came forward. Like hell he was getting a shag off her 30 seconds after meeting her.

The bit about asking for stuff to clean bloodstains is the best part - not in the least bit suspicous when you have been named as a material witness in a missing person enquiry. Reading between the lines he offered a burd out of his league a lift home, got upset when he realised it was just a lift, smashed her head in then tried to use his netflix account to dispose of her. Surprised he didn't have a crack when she was dead to be honest.
