Sorry to be a geek, but that leaves the following fixtures for the next 11. Trying to be realistic / assuming a couple of glitches too, bout what we might take.
Celtic H (1pt)
Dundee Utd A (3pts)
St Mirren A (1pt)
Hibs H (3pts)
Rangers A (0pts)
Falkirk H (3pts)
Aberdeen H (3pts)
Kilmarnock A (3pts)
Dundee H (3pts)
Livingston A (3pts)
Motherwell H (1pt)
Even being a bit pessimistic - the big thing for me is that I'd say the closing 6 fixtures are all VERY winnable. Taking us to the split. But let's assume winning them all is too good to be true, so say we drop points v Motherwell.
That'd still give us 24 points out of 33. Kind of matching us taking 50 / 66 in the first two rounds IF we beat St Mirren.
Rangers and Celtic would need to beat this take by 6 points just to draw even going into the split.
I don't see us getting to the split and not having at least a chance of the league with 5 games left. Surely.
Rangers. Celtic. Motherwell. Hibs. Guaranteed to be four of those teams. As it stands given the first 3 games against each, we'd be due to play:
Rangers H
Celtic A
Motherwell A
Hibs A
Team TBC but we'd likely be given them at H to maintain above Hs and As.
All of a sudden Hibs A and Celtic A feel like horrendous fixtures. And for some reason I just think Rangers H will see the Ref get involved. But. Rangers and Celtic need to play each other and they both can't win.
So. I think, to have a chance of the league. We'd need to go into the split at least 4 points clear and maintain our better GD.
All ifs and buts. One things for sure. It's cup finals now til the end of the season.
Celtic are shite. Defence is woeful and that boggle eyed freak of a captain is probably their best player, which isn't saying much. Rangers aren't great but they seem to be grinding out results now.
Shat himself when Spittal had a go. Brave as fuck shouting at Findlay from 20 yards away but the second Spittal got in his face he was looking everywhere for the ref
Was watching open goal there and they were talking about Sunday’s game and Alan Stubbs mentioned about the occasion getting to Celtic and then it got me thinking (dangerous I know)
Everyone keeps saying about Celtic that they’ve got the experience of winning the league compared to us and the Huns but to be honest, they actually don’t. Every year is a procession for them with the league usually won by Easter, when’s the last time they had a credible challenge aside from the year Gerrard won it with Rangers and they ran away with it, and the season after where it was tight. Aside from that they’ve not had to face the pressure they have like this season so who’s to say they can cope with it better? The constant melt downs from their players and fans says they can’t.
If anything this season has shown that we have the strongest mentality of the top 3 with how we deal with any setbacks we face
Celtic are fucked and they still managed to cause us problems.
Rangers have got their act together, and we need to be more worried about them now.
The split is will make or break us.
Really need Chesney and Ague to pull themselves together.

Celtic weren’t any more fucked than we were TBF. I agree that Rangers are the problem - they aren’t a good team that blows teams away but they can just pick up the results.
The worry is that I see more challenges for us than Rangers if you do the whole ‘Rohl League Table’ thing. Since he was appointed we’ve lost twice and drawn four times. The level they are at means that actually isn’t good enough which is ridiculous to think about. I just don’t see who beats them domestically other than us. Maybe Celtic or Motherwell do it?
It basically all comes down to us winning almost every game and getting the better results in the games against Rangers which would be a historic level of form. We’ve done it in the first 11 fixtures of the season, though.
That was the game for me where it went from aye this is a laugh, lets just enjoy it to yes we can win the league from here and I'll be fucking devastated beyond belief if we don't.
I vividly remember going to a Newcastle game about this time of the season v Leicester when they won it. Leicester absolutely battered them 3-0 and it felt so similar to that.
