Since matchday 8 rangers have pulled back 11 points on us, I want to believe we can do it but we’re looking very shaky at the moment. We desperately need this 2 week gap at the start of March to try and get some injuries back and reset.

I think we’ll need 16 points before the split and then we’ll have a right chance. It’s hard to say if we can manage that or not, we can’t continue to limp along and make every game a hard grind. Really need a couple of good performances to get the momentum going again.

Last 10 games were sitting 4th in the table dropping 7 points on Rangers.

We can do this carry on where we say we don’t care about the performances just the results but the performances don’t reflect a team who are going to go on a big run to the split. You could sense it from the fans at tynie in the derby the morale is shifting again and the confidence going. Obv ending was brilliant and the fans really lifted but for the majority you could feel the weight in our shoulders. We’re still no sure what our strongest 11 is and fucking about with it every week.

Rangers are in ascension and we’re no. I said it a while ago it wasn’t Celtic I was worried about but them, Rohl seems to be a very good manager getting a tune out this squad now. It would take a small miracle for Mcinnes to just suddenly work all this out and the feeling from everyone is just to keep ourselves in and about it until Devlin and shanks return.

None of that points to a title winning team for me, it’s not criticising hearts btw because we have done brilliant to get here but it’s just the reality of how solid it is to have the ability, luck and depth of squad to go the full distance. It is what it is, I’m not saying hearts are bad because of my opinion that we won’t win the league now Its probably the second best hearts team I’ve seen in my lifetime, I was a bit too young to appreciate the teams of the 90s.

To some extent to doesn’t really matter where we are at at the split.

If we win out until then, we still have to beat the OF ourselves during the split.

The only scenario in which it matters is if we lose a match/drop points then it’s all she wrote.

Can’t move for cunts saying ‘oh, the OF will get beat’. Well, O’Neill’s Celtic haven’t been beaten domestically and the only team that can beat Rangers are us at full strength. Maybe a draw is the best result we can hope for in the OF games.

Currently 4th in the form table over last 10 games.

I said yesterday, Del and the management team need to go sit down and figure out the puzzle of what our strongest team is currently.

I think we have start Altena and Kerjota in the next two games. and I'd drop Findlay for McCart. I'd also bring Gordon in too.

It's wild how many big decisions questions there are. What to do with Mato, Ageu, Kabore and Chesnekov also.

I'd be starting Ageu next game again. I've enjoyed Maggy recently but Del, please don't go to your comfort blankets too much.

Ageu should be starting from now til the end of the season and showing us why we paid the fee we did, when Devlin is fit he can come in for Beni and leave Leonard to run the show from deep.

Gordon should absolutely be back in til the end of the season as well to settle this back 4 down.
