Not sure how long it takes the players to get to the standard to be able to play at that intensity for more than 45 but just now we need to be a bit more clever with it. Ange’s celtic had this issue with a better squad, early doors when he took over if he couldn’t get the job done first half they looked vulnerable second half. Eventually they could do it over 90 but we need to get to that stage quickly.
That’s if some of these guys even have it in them.
There's an argument that he should play to our strengths (do we have any?) but I'm quite happy for him to say this is how we're going to play, if you can't hack it then we'll get players in who can.
Looks like he's already sussed out Mckay, Boyce and Halkett won't fit in which is promising.
I'd expect mobile, fit players in January if we can get some of the pish off the books.
