I've been to the doctor's twice as an adult - swine flu and a line for stress when my daughter was born early.

Went to the doc's today however. Haven't been able to sleep as it's too sore to swallow.

I got glandular fever a few years ago...throat closed up to the point I could barely drink water without a lot of pain. Turns out I had it alongside a bacterial infection in my throat as well.

Did your doc take bloods for it?

Nah, I'm over the hump. I've a lone for antibiotics but I'll probably not take them.

Seems there's two types of tonsilitis and the bacterial one is much worse.
