Which 'TV box set' are you currently watching?

Watched episode 1 of 2 new shows last night and whilst it's a little early to tell, both seemed to have promise.:-

1. Chance - Hugh Laurie playing a doctor again, but this one looks like it's shaping up as a rather violent psychological thriller. Had me intrigued from the start.

2. Startup - Good cast and some interesting characters, a sort of modern gangster show (i think).

Both worth a look (I'm banking on Chance being excellent).

Saw the first episode of Startup - was pretty good and had potential. Lots of sex scenes but no boobs on show is always disappointing though.

Anyone else seen the 1990 UK "House of Cards" trilogy? Absolutely brilliant - well worth a watch if you haven't seen it (it's on Netflix). Obviously the US adaptation has been really successful - will need to get on that.

Probably the most compelling leading performance I've ever seen in a TV series.

American Horror Story. Actually pretty decent. Likeable cast and it's never boring like shows like the Walking Dead can get, they throw a totally random twist at you every five minutes.

Yep, go to agree, the first episode was decent. Would prefer it a bit darker (as per the book) but definitely willing to give it a few more episodes.

As an aside, Pale horse coming (a book about Bob Swagger's dad) is tremendous, easily the best of the bunch.
