Think it was meant to be a comic-con exclusive, but some cunt recorded it and uploaded it so they were forced to release the better version earlier than they wanted. A lot of hype around the BvS trailer as well, so seems fair they'd want to jump on that.

Going by those trailers what are the chances that the joker is talking about hurting Robin. Since his suit is covered in joker graffiti in the Batman vs Superman trailer and I think Suicide Squad will be set first.

Wasn't really fussed for either until I saw these trailers. Both look good.

Superman is hamstrung by the fact that he's an out and out goodie, he has to fight fair.

Batman is a tactician and has gadgets.

Here's my understanding, and this is purely from the trailer as I've never read the comics.

Batman got pissed off at the crime in Gotham. He donned the batsuit and cleaned up the city. Now there's no crime. He's retired, he's no longer the Batman. This could also be because Robin was killed, but I'm not sure what the Robin suit implied. So during the events of Man of Steel, Bruce Wayne is just a business man. He's mainly in Gotham, but he has a building in Metropolis. You see him on the street in new trailer, he sees his building destroyed by Zod and Superman. His employees are killed. He wants revenge. He takes on Superman on behalf of the world, who have no other way to contain him, or to protect themselves against him. He's got an armoured kryptonite powered batsuit, and Superman is too moral to kill any one. So they pagger.

Here's the side by side of the scene in Man of Steel, and Bruce Wayne in watching it in the trailer. It's personal Drederick, very personal.

Ah right, so superman killing an evil alien intent on enslabing the population is enough reason to kill the world protector. Seems a shaky premise.

It's all a bit "Who watches the Watchmen" I think. Just because 2 aliens had a fight to the death doesn't mean the winner is on the side of the humans. Batman doesn't trust him, he needs to know he can square go him if the time comes.
