Not sure if the level of my excitement was due to how good it was or just because it was 'star wars'. Was gutted when it ended, could have happily say for another couple of hours worth  Definitely better than the last three.Â

Watched the first 20 mins of the Hateful Eight.
Seemed shite.

Star Wars was class. Miles ahead of the prequels and possibly better than RotJ as well. 9/10

Star Wars - my word.
9/10

The Bourne Ultimatum.
Dat ending. ![]() What a trilogy it is. I still enjoyed The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner and thought it was decent but I really hope they don't make a cunt of the new one with Matt Damon coming out next year. ![]()

Sat and watched all the bourne films in one day recently. The fourth is pretty far behind the other three, because they're great films. Only reason it's not a contender for best trilogy ever is that the last two bleed in to each other pretty heavily.
The chat with the chems or meds or whatever in the fourth film felt a lot like medichlorians in the star wars prequels. Unnecessary explanation of something nobody was that fussed finding out about.

Hateful Eight - 7/10. Pretty good, slow to start the exploding body parts though.

Hateful eight, a wee bit all over the place at times but it's pretty fucking funny
![]() It's classic Tarantino, although takes a good bit before he's got the blood and guts out. 5/5.

Avengers Age of Ultron 5/10

Legend - I was expecting it to be good and Hardy to be great. Hardy was great but it was pretty poor. Paint by numbers stuff really and things that should've been fun, like the soundtrack, really grated as it came across as synthetic.
Not the worst movie called Legend i've ever seen though.

Watched it last night and I don't need to write anything as this sums it up exactly. Hardy was great, the film was ok.

Fall of the Krays looks far more appealing tbh. Out next month

Honestly preferred the 90s version with the kemps.

At least the Kemps one managed to capture a bit of the violence and grimness which was surrounding that time, Legend is just some wishy washy love story pish which misses the point entirely for me.
Hardy saves it from being horrific though.

The Hateful Eight - 7/10 - was a good film, felt like it was missing something though.
Spotlight 9/10 - absolute must see about the Boston globe investigation into the Catholic Church. Best film I've seen this year.

Kingsman - 6 - watchable enough nonsense, but it's hard to decide if it was Samuel L Jackson's lisp or that anal sex 'gag' at the end that was more distasteful
