Blue story
Thought this was going to be a lot better pretty disappointed. There are some pretty good performances in it but just don't think it's as good as made out. I would give it a 3/5

Imagine not getting fired in to Grace Kelly.
Watched that netflix doc about an old jewish couple who ran a gay porno store in LA. That's the tagline they're selling it on, and you'd expect a cracking twist to justify it. Turns out it's just the story of an old jewish couple who ran a gay porno store in LA; it's just that. Sure, they have a gay son and the mum isnt happy about it for a minute, but there's no conflict, no story, little social commentary, the director becomes too involved (it's their daughter) and it tries to become a story about family, but it's not. There's just no story so they try and fill the blank.
