Watched The Brutalist last night, not bad. Good to look at, decent story I guess but like last year with Saltburn it's another low hanging fruit hit on the rich.

Slim pickings this year for Best Picture is my impression. The Brutalist is the only one I've seen when in previous yrs I'd be all over the vast majority. The subject matter in these films is tedious af.

Took the bairn to snow white. Gal Gadot aside, it was pretty good.

A shame it's been pilloried by racists and it'll umderperform and that'll indicate it wasn't good but there's plenty worthwhile in it.

Wasn't optimistic going in to snow white, but was very aware it could be worse.

Fucking nick of the trailers beforehand too. Live action remake of How to Train Your Dragon. Live action remake of Lilo and Stitch. Fucking Minecraft. And the Coogan film where he adopts a penguin at a posh school in Argentina.
