Went to that show actually. She was superb despite being offered absolutely nothing by the majority of people she brought on stage.

Saw that show last week.

The audience members invited on stage were pretty into it but it wasn't my cup of tea. She's a very talented performer but I don't think I so much as smirked for the last half hour.

At Broadies.

Some pub crawl, Pondy.

bit slow today. Enjoyed the early doors pubs on that crawl, although I did miss out the Duke's Head. But to compensate I had two in the Central. The Marksman was mental .... everybody in there was swearing all the time and a right character fell backwards off his stool, very gracefully I might add. Met a mate in the Brass Monkey where I got all fancy with a Schiehallion, then onto the Windsor - no Tennents in there so ended up with some Calrsberg stuff that was 4.70!! Fuck me, that's insane, at the Windsor Buffet! Moretti in the Elm, or whatever its called now.

Was a pleasant late afternoon by now so walked up onto Regent Road and eventually into the Regent (Rainbow City) - gave him a tenner and got my change back but left hand out to which he asks did you not get alllll your change? I said seems you've forgotten a pound coin in there. No, it's 4.60. I just looked incredulously at him. Anyway, down to the Safari Lounge, then The Hoppy, and Porters, and the Scottie and got last orders in Broadfields.

Cheapest was the Marksman at 2.90.

Of the four Leith pubs it was the only one where the majority of clientele were younger. Wilkies and ToS were all auld boys and the Central was a bit of a mix but mainly auld radges. phoned my mum from the Central - she was disgusted.

Managed to nip out for a couple this evening too, at the Hole in the Wa, to see a couple of mates, under the guise of shopping at the nearby Lidl.

No, Portobello. The Ellwyn was to be my next port of call and then on down the high street but would have been truly cabbaged if there had been more hours in the day, as there's still a good number of pubs there. Not like the good old days but still a few.
