Was just trying to map your route, my old boy was bar manager in the Safari Lounge back when it was the Station bar

Managed to nip out for a couple this evening too, at the Hole in the Wa, to see a couple of mates, under the guise of shopping at the nearby Lidl.  Laugh

Nice.  Used to pop in there quite often, especially before derbies as an alternative to the Artisan.  Also occasionally after we had spent some time drinking those big bottles of tennents at the Railwayman's club just down the road on Stanley Place.

The Safari Lounge was quite busy when I went in 8ish I think had some Safari Beer (?), which was 4 quid.

Yes, just fancied a nice walk with a great view of Arthur's Seat so went that way instead of along London Road.

Makes you think a planet could spin off of the sun's orbit any time.
Don't let the Tories see that. They'd be pushing for a planetary brexit to have us spinning off to do phantom deals elsewhere.

Anybody using Audible?

Why is it 8 quid a month to access the service then another 7/8 quid each time you actually want to listen to a book Monty Oh You

It gives you a token each month, so you're essentially paying 8 quid a month for 1 book. Absolute chancers man, getting cancelled.

Yeah as groot says, they have a free section but not anything relevant. Think the Attenborough one I'm listening to just now that I used the credit for came out in about 2014 but it would've cost about 6 quid without the app.

I think the idea is you own them forever so not like Netflix where you lose films after a while. But still, it's so expensive which is a shame.

Ah right.

The free section must be why the missus has been listening to 'classics' probably all out the bargain bin.
