Why is it everyday the top story in bbc news website is not about coronavirus.

Today it's that some plane crashed in Indonesia. Who gies a fuck. The uk is in the grip of a crisis, put that 2nd or 3rd. The advantage of a public service broadcaster is that it can disseminate vital information in an emergency.

Had my first joint in a long time. Just on the first episode of Vikings. Just waiting for Just Eat to deliver my second bottle of wine. Remembered i had a JD gift set for my nephew's birthday. JD glass, those granite, cold square ice cube things, a mini of regular Jack and a Honey. Cracked open the Honey one as ive never tried it. Taking slow sips of it. Absolutely lovely stuff. Vikings is superb too.

Anyone using these pay as you go insurance companies for their car?

Looked at bymiles and it's going to bring my insurance down a fair bit with me doing barely any mileage these days. Charge you a flat fee to insure the car when it's parked then it's 3p per mile.

You just need to plug a wee dongle into your car so it can track your mileage. Seems decent, only know one other who uses it though but he hasn't had any issues with it and works well for him.

It looks like it will work out around £200 cheaper than a traditional insurer so defo worth thinking about if you're not doing many miles. The dongle doesn't record your speed either so not like a black box you'd usually get for younger drivers.

As long as your not doing a pile of miles, I suppose it'll work out well for you. Even during lockdown I'm still doing a fair bit of driving with picking up and dropping off my daughter and making sure my folks are alright, so wouldn't be much use to me.
