It was my Mrs and she’s already ignored a couple and decided to tell me when the letters are getting more threatening I’m assuming it’s too late now to go to meadowbank and try and sort it out. Hopefully she gets the jail.

Don’t phone them that’s when you get absolutely hounded. I parked with a guest pass thing that fell off my window at my in laws and they were utter cunts about it on the phone. Said they didn’t care so I gave it the whole “I’ll see you in court!” and they just threatened more and eventually gave up.

Depending who takes it you might get folk doing public info searches on you, somehow they got my parents house number and used to phone them My da was trying to get me to pay some ridic £800 fine because he thought the heavies were going to turn up and take his telly.

I've no idea how far they'll chase you, if they'll go all the way to court but they're in their rights to. Rory's plan of asking the venue to scrub it might've worked if you weren't on a final warning.

Have there been any cases in Scotland of someone with a single ticket being taken to court and losing without identifying themselves as the driver or otherwise engaging with these companies? I’m aware of a few who had racked up thousands of pounds worth of fines but I haven’t heard of anyone who ignores a single ticket being taken to court. There must be thousands upon thousands of cases in Scotland where people have just binned the notification letters.
