Eating lunch with pals = frothing cock gobbler

What a world you live in, Rog. For scientific clairification though, regardless of the electrical appliances you use, or whom you choose to eat a cheese and ham piece with, you're only gay if you have sexual intercourse with men. And possibly small boys.

Don't think I've ever called anyone homosexual for doing anything other than shagging men, I.J. This wasn't a "holy shit am I gay?" moment when drying my hair this morning. It was a "Christ it's cold today, glad my hair is dry, wonder what all those manly men are doing that don't use hairdryers out of some inane principle."

For clarification. If you and your male buddies meet for lunch and a natter, that's fine by me. I just find the concept a bit strange.

With Mags on the absolutely no need for straighteners though, how long is your fringe that you need to fucking straighten it before putting stuff in it? Laugh

It's not that long but my it goes sort of wavy/curly when dried and doesn't sit the way i want it so i use the the straightners to get it the way i want Quite Good

Nothing wrong with straighteners. Just another practical tool for styling your hair. Any advances on why straighteners aren't acceptable beyond "they're gay"?

I think most ladies would Jose at the prospect of their/a man using hair straighteners.

There is looking after yourself and taking pride in your appearance and then there is being a weirdo Essex Spice boy.

Some ladies may like their man to do that sort of thing along with wear fake tan etc. but not the sort of lady you'd want to spend time with.

Straighteners are just too much.

Is it ok if I reply to the above Alan? I'm not sure if you have Mags on ignore or not, but he's said something just in case you have.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturiser, then an anti-ageing eye balm followed by a final moisturising protective lotion.

By this time, my hair is dry.

Not much, Pete. As it happens I'm meeting my male friend for a spot of lunch this very afternoon.

It's not like I'm totally vain or anything, it's just something i need to do to keep my hair in this particular style and sit the way i want it, wouldn't think that was a massive issue for anyone.

It's because it's gay mate.

I don't use straighteners any more because I have no need for them. But we did this dance on kickback back when I did.

As I said above, there's not much of an argument beyond "it's gay".

It's not gay. Things are not gay (apart from fancying/sexy time with the same sex).

I just think straighteners are incredibly feminine and not masculine.

But what's feminine about taming your hair? I assume you use hair product? Why is using a product to tame your hair any more masculine than using a tool to do it?

I used to use straighteners to get the "busted" look when I was a teenager.

That's when I was gay though.

Drying my hair using a hair dryer right now. I have quite thick hair so if I want to get any sort of style other than bowlcut or emo fringe I need to dry my hair to style it or it just falls flat.

Don't let weird homophobes like Mags keep you down, Rog. Nothing wrong with using any tool to style your hair Fart Smelly

Thanks Frank, but that's not why I brought it up. I've owned and used a hairdryer for the better part of 10 years and have never second guessed its use. Love the thing. Ain't nobody getting me down.
