Momo is a scultpure out of a japanese art gallery as well. Thoughts with the artist at this time.

Facebook maws have now moved over to insta, folk saying on their stories how they have deleted all Youtube and Youtube kids off their phones as "hackers" have inserted photos of Momo saying KILL YOURSELF into kids videos.

I don't doubt some trolls have chucked momo into some kids videos on YouTube but all this does is cause parents to ask kids about it who know nothing about momo but you know first chance you get they'll be looking it up.

The momo shit is obviously blown out of proportion but there is some very weird shit targeted at kids on youtube the now tbf.  If anyone watches that H3H3 he done a whole thing about these 2 guys who dressed up as Spiderman and Elsa from frozen and just done very bizarre videos while in costume.  Quite a lot of overly sexualised stuff, dressed up in a way which appeals to young kids.

Big issues with gambling as well as loads of youtube people who have kid audiences will promote these ''guaranteed prize'' sites which on a technicality lets kids buy tickets at say £30 for a 1/10000000 chance of winning an ipad or something.

Think parents are right to be a bit wary of what their children are watching but the momo shit has been taken way too far.  Fucking internet mums eh, the fucking worst

I searched momo on YouTube last night and all the content was cunts making up fake chats with momo. All this stuff is aimed at kids and is gonna freak them out. The two posts I've saw shared on Facebook what the kids were describing I saw in videos so that's obviously where they are getting them from

There was no evidence that Orson Welles' broadcast of war of the worlds caused any sort of serious panic, rioting, looting etc. It was cynically created by newspapermen looking to undermine an upstart new medium, radio.

Print media doesn't have the clout to fight any sort of battle against non traditional media in the way they did 80yrs ago, but they can seek to piggy back their own panic.

Had the old bill in to my working this morning at 9am to investigate claims that the cleaner's been thieving.

Someone burnt toast at eleven am, so we had to evacuate the building till the fire brigade showed up.

And just there a lassie has gone in to labour at 32 weeks so we had an ambulance come get her.

I'm not sure if mountain rescue regularly get call outs to the centre of glasgow but i wouldn't bet against today being the first.
