Fairly sure there was a point on a guns n' roses/metallica tour where james hetfield and axl rose both had broken legs. The tour only broke up later when hetfield stood in the wrong spot at a pyro and got burned. That stopped him.

Quite busy with a few scream gigs but I heard he has renewed for the few games he can make every season, so still a chance we could get him to play a set.
