Is it a way of looking at life that's been helping you mate?

I guess so yeah, but I've never really needed help with it. There's no shame if you do though, it's not an easy time for a lot of guys. There's societal expectations to have settled down by our age, or at the very least be on the cusp of it. I don't agree with it, I think it's a pretty archaic viewpoint. As men, we've no biological clock to race against, we're not in danger of losing our looks with age, and we're not going to be passed up for a younger model. That coupled with the every increasing life expectancy means there genuinely isn't a hurry, so no need to be disappointed with where you are compared to where you expected to be.

I can't speak for you, but I know a lot of people just can't stand their own company. For them relationships aren't an endgame, they're just filler until they're ready for the big one. I can't really relate to that, so if that fits your description, and you're feeling lonely but can't find someone to share your time with, maybe one of the other guys on here can help you cope with that.

Is there some 'in-joke' with the mis-spellings ... first 2Na in 'Collins' then Roger above. If not then extremely uncharacteristic.

Anyway, the last few posts suggest a perfect match, which only confirms what we have all suspected for some time. Big Grin

You referring to my advise/advice? Just a genuine typo from me that I haven't corrected.

Ahh. As I said very rare. 2na too with 'Device' instead of devise. Not being a dick like but they stood out like neon lights in a dark alley. That's a compliment btw.

Which? Some broad generalisations, but for the most part it's fairly true.

I'm not saying that they are not true just you don't have much influence either way.

How do you know you won't lose your looks? Men tend to gain weight or you could lose your hair Acey

Although men don't have a biological clock in the same way as women, our fertility does drop as we get older.
And an assumption on my part - people tend to pair off with someone in a similar age bracket. Even if your biological clock is still fine, your partner's might not be.

Obviously if your employing C.H.R.A.M.B.O this doesn't matter as she'll be barely legal and good to go.

All fair points. As I said, broad generalisations/tropes. Women tend to peak in their 20s, men not until much later. Weight gain is a choice. Women have the menopause, men are fertile all their days.

The age thing. You think so? I assume the opposite. Men want young women, women want older men.

Men are primarily focussed on sex so desire a woman in their 20s.
Women are primarily focussed on love (or money) so desire a man in their 30/40s.
But that's desires. I think in reality when it comes to getting a partner you'll have more in common with someone of roughly the same age. Obviously that's a generalisation too.

What's the easiest way to transfer / send a large file to someone online? Needs to be free too.
