Has anyone watched that chicken shop date on YouTube over the years? Was basically an awkward lassie playing a character goes on a daft made up date to a chicken shop but was essentially just interviewing up and coming folk in the grime scene in London. Ended up expanding and she's done really well had Louis Theroux and all sorts on. Think a lot of footballers have been on it.

Anyway it's reached America, they clearly don't understand British humour or culture and are trying to cancel her because it's a “white girl taking black men for chicken” and saying she needs interview training etc because she's so awkward

They ruin everything Americans eh?

I think he's the one that's kicked it off again but it has been bubbling away for a while, I think Giggs was chatting about it a while ago with someone else and there was a bit of a disagreement, can't mind if he thought it was ok.

Read this thread for example, I get why black people would feel that way about it but just a shame because I don't think that Amelia has done anything wrong.

There's also chat of her being the “daughter of a rich politician” but what they fail to say is her dad was a Labour councillor who has worked against the tories through his career and was involved in trade unions etc.

Was driving through Cupar today around lunchtime when all the high school students were heading back for the afternoon. What struck me was that almost every girl was wearing those black & white converse hi-tops, and almost every single boy of about 14/15/16 was wearing either b&w Adidas Spezials (or sambas) with their trousers above the ankles and white socks! Like almost all of them! Never seen that anywhere else on my travels.
