You've hoovered up those history possies in the past; you live by the sword, you die by the sword, Franko.

Apologies for not reading Makween's crushingly boring posts about his Masters closely enough to know he was reading 18th Century literature. I thought he was reading medieval at one point? Absolutely sickening that you could even suggest that I would mistake 18th Century for medieval

You guys need to stop talking about my Masters, as people will lose interest after a while.
![]() I've worked on both medieval and eighteenth-century texts.

Flattered and surprised that anyone's even skim-reading.

I've genuinely watched that fighting talk video about 20 times since it was posted. Can't get enough of it

Don't take this the wrong way Mak but I'd like to know how you went from being a degenerate scumbag to a well rounded lover of French Literature and ice cream in under a decade? Inspirational.

I like a good 'pulled oneself up by the bootstraps' story, Mak.

Funnily enough, I was having a look at the Top 50 P&B posters thread the other day and saw a familiar name among them. I had no idea Mak was a big poster over there, never used the site personally. Each user got their own wee write up.
