Pretty pissed off, i had the stoppage in round 11.... Would have been a nice 500 euros. ah well.
Anyway, hopefully Mac back to where he belongs and get the UFC rocking again, i wonder if this will win more boxing fans round to MMA. Say what you like about boxing, it's heritage, it's technicality etc.. MMA is just way more fun to watch. As for Mayweather going into the cage, ha ha forget it. He wouldn't last 30 seconds. 1 elbow, 1 kick, 1 takedown, he's done.
Haven't thought of a funny signature yet....

Doubt it really.
The UFC crowd was bigger than the boxing crowd for this event. Mayweather getting booed by the city he is from

I watched the first two rounds and then lost the periscope feed, whether that was because it was chopped or my internet connection dumped me due to a spell of heavy rain, I couldn't tell you.
Of course it was the money that was FM's raison d'etre here but he also wanted to ensure the 50-0 so he's hardly going to make it look like it was always a cake walk. As Ross mentioned earlier, his bouts tend to be fairly routine and somewhat boring. Murinho-esque, functional; very measured. And, that is that. Of course GM didn't disgrace himself. I suspect it would have been a different against a for aggressive boxer. Glad this nonsense is over.

No danger a 40 year old bloke is going to spend the next 5 years training to get up to a reasonable level to be able to compete.

Just watched highlights. McGregor was quite leadfooted imo. His balance wasn't too great either. Which was quite surprising as in MMA I assume you would have these things nailed on ? Different sport of course so he clearly wasn't used to it. Very different stances for MMA/muay Thai vs boxing. He didn't look comfortable at all.
His punches looked pretty weak. He got stuck in no doubt but Mayweather wasn't remotely bothered by him as far as I see it.
