Should I back teams I think will lose

It's just that (1) there's no fun in it; (2) congratulating yourself if the four favourites go through would be rather ridiculous. Barca and Bayern (the value in the betting IMO) will no doubt be fine. The other two ties could end up as virtual coinflips.

Far better to back the likes of Spurs AP.

Hugely disappointed that Red Bull FC did not draw Red Bull FC in the Euro Vase btw.

The reason you back the random teams now and again is exactly so that you can "congratulate yourself" when one eventually flukes their way through a tie.

I think Man City v Liverpool is the interesting one. Plenty goals in that tie.
The rest I think are almost forgone conclusions.

Sevilla v Bayern.

No shock to see Barca and Bayern paying off the Champions League officials once again.

Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Liverpool to progress
![]() Liverpool were bossing the match at the Etihad until Mane got sent off for kicking Ederson in the puss. They pished all over them at Anfield, just some dodgy defending made it look more respectable 4-3 Real v Juve is a coin flip, I'll go for Real, but I reckon this is where the competition winner is coming from. Juve have been to 2 finals just recently, this could be the year they finally get over the top

Think Juve will beat Real but won't win it.

"we were in administration, we were a joke under my predecessor, we've won nothing since 2012, we've not finished best of the rest since 2011", what would be your reaction?

As long as they avoid each other in the semis, it's a Bayern-Juve final for me, Clive. In which Bayern will play all the football, and Juve make off with the spoils.
