My mum used to make me wear shorts for much of the year as my primary school had no grass and we played football every break/lunch on the concrete playground. Meant she didn't have to buy hundreds of pairs of trousers each year. Obviously not in the bitter cold/rain though.

Stealing from Waitrose is shady. Their staff are on a profit share.

You're taking money out of the checkout and shelf stackers' pockets.

Quite sad to see THF members' brazen satisfaction in engaging in criminal activity. Common thievery, no less. Sad

What a disappointment it must be for parents who spend large sums of money on their kids education to see them end up with bang average careers. My mate went to Dollar academy then spent 5 years working in the shell garage Warnock

Parents have bought him a shop on Byers road now though Muggy

What's the best state school in Edinburgh now?

My mate is a youth worker and it's an eye opener. The school he works in has a major drug problem from 1st to 3rd years Eek

Smart mum. My son's going through a pair of jeans every three weeks or so it seems. Threatened him with patches but he's already sussed we're too lazy to do shite like that.

Dollar's as posh as Stirling/clacks gets. What level of posho do you have through there? Crowe

Think Broughton is right up there now.

It's got the edinburgh music school, and is now an SFA centre too. Think their exam results have shot up loads too. Changed days from when I was there Laugh

I think Broughton is in a weird situation now because of the area and the programmes. Attracts the talented kids but also the absolute schemies like yourself.
