I just saw it as a commentary on subconscious gender biases in children. Boys can't be nurses, girls wear pink, all that stuff.
To steal a phrase from CC, I find that type of thing interesting. Just to reiterate, it wasn't offensive to me or caused any outrage in myself. Upset you though.
