Nah I'd rather have a shite house and live in Edinburgh than look to like Kirkliston etc.
She doesn't drive either. There are lots of houses we like that will be in our budget just now, it's just frustrating that we'll either need a bigger deposit or need to fork out a lot more if the prices keep rising. We're just aware now that we'll buy when we buy, it's going to be shit regardless so going to keep plodding away saving and hope for a crash

I bought just under 2 years ago while the market was low - just in the process of having it re-valued as my first 2 year mortgage term is up and I will probably do some shopping. I got it for bang on valuation so I'm hoping I won't have taken too much of a hit, I bought a 1 bed with a view to renting it out eventually as if I move back to the central belt or beyond I will rent initially anyway.
No rep, no problem

Minimum alcohol pricing came into play today...The Scottish Government still failing to grasp that higher pricing and tighter licencing conditions are not the way to solve this countries problem with alcoholism.

Maybe if Scotland actually did something good for once like BE GOOD AT FOOTBALL we wouldn't all be crippled alcoholics.
Bet countries where it's sunny and the bursd are pinigol don't have issues with alcohol.

It's good to know that there's a simple solution to the issue and Ray knows what it is. Hopefully he'll let us all know at some point and we can all move forward.
