Hundreds of guys just standing about in this WhatsApp group?  I don't doubt there are folk who maybe coordinate themselves to try and date rape lassies in clubs.  It's shit what's happened to her no doubt, I just don't think there is a network of hundreds of people in Amnesia or wherever it was praying on lassies.

Just another point, her pal has looked over some guys shoulder and seen a WhatsApp chat with pictures of lassies in it.  

Who isn't in a WhatsApp group where guy posts pictures of lassies they're seeing etc? But this somehow indicates a network of hundreds of guys are operating in a club trying to drug/rape lassies.

As I said I have absolutely no doubt this does happen, of course it does but I highly doubt it does on a scale like that and I think she has either got really paranoid after having a scary experience or its just a pure “Asian gangs draw a red X on the pavement to come and steal your bairn” type post.

That's the point I'm making though.

In that post she has said there are at least 200 guys operating in this club. It's just creating a massive sense of fear for no reason. Guys do that in all clubs and it's really fucking shit. Would be interesting to hear from people who have actually been there to see if they have any experience of that.

Was pretty believable up until she leaves the club with 8 folk and 100 men were waiting for them. Bit extreme. A group of guys coordinating drugging folk doesn't sound too ridiculous though, not somewhere like Ibiza anyway.

Who knows – but once she had experienced the Sparrow incident she will undoubtedly have been more paranoid and perhaps put 2 and 2 together with dodgy looking (but innocent) men and come up with 5.

Anyway, don't think sharing her story does any harm. People probably think these guys in costume that work for clubs are harmless but there will likely be a few bad eggs and people should be wary.

Just thought the tone was a bit “daft lassie being paranoid after one guy tried to drug her”, which is missing the point at best, extremely callous at worst.

Sounds like a wee swedger that had a bit more in it than expected tbh as the story sounds like absolute pish. 100 men spread out waiting to grab them?

Horrible to say but the number of girls at uni whose drink "was spiked"when they had been smashing the bevvy and were steaming, was pretty high. 5 tequilas and a jug of vodka red bull, a bottle of wine and then the rumour about halls they had been spiked.

I don't think she actually got spiked, well at least she didn't drink the drink that she thought had something in it.
