I think it's in response to calls for the police to issue guidance to women to not walk alone at night etc.

It's not even clear if she's actually seriously suggesting it or not, but the headlines write themselves and the focus shifts from women being vulnerable when walking alone to daft leftist cunt wants to lock men in their house from 6pm.

Shit like this bugs me man, it's got nothing to do with “all men”. I'm pretty sure most men are pretty decent guys who wouldn't sexually assault somebody, and who would speak up and/or act when they witnessed somebody being sexually assaulted.

Shit like this bugs me man, it's got nothing to do with “all men”. I'm pretty sure most men are pretty decent guys who wouldn't sexually assault somebody, and who would speak up and/or act when they witnessed somebody being sexually assaulted.

You need to realise though that the majority of women don't think that “all men” are a danger, I don't even think this post is even saying that.

The actions of some men make a lot of women feel distrust or uncomfortable in the presence of men in certain situations.   If you're walking down the street and a woman crosses over, or speeds up etc, obv you're not a threat in any way but based on their experiences they aren't going to take that chance because they don't have a clue whether you're a good guy or not.  

If you're in any way offended by women thinking that then I think the anger needs to be turned to men who act in those ways to make women have this distrust, rather than trying to prove that 'not all men' are like that.  The fact is some men are like that and while that sort of thing is rife in society, we're going to have to just accept in some situations some women aren't always going to feel good around us.

I don't think it's really comparable to the  Muslim thing either because pretty much every woman at some point in their life is going to face harassment or whatever.  How many people will be a victim of terrorism?

In all srsns I didn't mean to take responsibility for abusers but just accept that there's going to be a level of distrust in men especially who are strangers in certain situations because of things that happen.

It's not for me to talk about but one of my good pals had the worst happen to her and I think it took that for me to realise how fucked a situation it can create for them and people close to them.

Mines is 2 and a half. See her a few times a week. Still   at a few days though.
