Yeah - and his 'pal' Lucy Law apparently was friends with the lad they chopped up (but survived), who was also in Tenerife this week.

The fact they had a Go Fund Me set up within hours of reporting him missing, it's a little bit too suspicious.

Seeing more of this from big tourists cities around the world, seems to be the same argument everywhere that housing shortages exacerbated massively by airbnb/short term rentals getting out of control.  Think the “tourists go home” lot are on the extreme end of things and not the majority but looks like it’s not exactly a fringe view.  When we were in Palermo it was graffiti’d all over the place.

We were going to go to Barcelona next year but have just pied it off because of this sort of thing + the robberies getting really bad so I suppose the protests do work to some extent, maybe need to rethink Valencia anaw but not seeing as much from there.  Surely if you’re a “tourists go home” type you just canny go on holiday anywhere
without being a hypocrite though   Edinburgh is another city affected badly in the same ways but I can’t ever imagine blaming the tourists themselves, no really their fault.  Although if you’re from one of these cities and you know fine well the problems Airbnb cause and use it yourself for convenience then don’t think you have any right to complain
