Gypsies have always existed outside of state institutions in Britain, we all know the score that the state taking away their kids (even when fully justified) is going to ignite violence. It was reported pretty early that the social had taken away a bairn due to child neglect. When i heard it was gypsy community then the response made sense. State taking their kids away is a sure fire way of getting a wild response from these folks. Feel sorry for the social workers who had to make the brave decision to take the child into care.

austerity, covid and cost of living. People have less to lose when life is shite.
