Yeah, trained with him a few times a while ago (before I ever fought, doubt he'd remember me). Decent guy and like to see the Scots doing well anyway (although most of the high profile Scottish MMA guys are dicks tbh).

Robert Whiteford is an absolute headcase, although also fairly likeable. Have heard Joanne Calderwood is sound.

Up at 6am to watch Usman hold him against the cage and stamp his feet for 25 minutes. Utterly shite "fight". Masvidal on 6 days noticed and it showed, blowing out his arse after round 1.

I'm a Holloway fan so thought he was totally robbed as well but I guess it was too close to win the title like that, wish he'd really went for it.

Good scrap last night with Till and Whitaker. Both great guys so wasn't rooting for one over the other but you wonder where Till goes from here. It's clear that Izzy is on another planet in that division.

Know a few guys who have trained with Till and he's apparently a great guy. Feel like he's just lacking a wee bit to really be a top level contender, though.

Aye there is definitely a gap between him and the title contenders. The UFC have sunk serious cash into marketing him though as he has a lot of appeal.

His striking is pretty good for an MMA guy though. Whittaker said it was the most technical fight he's ever had.

He had a high level in MT before transitioning to MMA, I think.

Till hasn't got the killer instinct. Masvidal has and he would probably knock him out again, neither of them will be the best imo. It's a shame because they're more entertaining to watch than the best.
