Gilmour was really good there. It would be ridiculous if he isn't in the squad.

Having two cup finals in a few weeks probably means Gilmour will get all the remaining league games Quite Good

McLean out for 12 weeks. Shame for the guy.

Surely Gilmour goes now.

On Gilmour, I read earlier he's started 7 games in total this year - the last two league games while they've been resting the first team for the CL semis, one CL group game when they'd already qualified and 4 FA Cup games against lower league sides.

I'd agree with having him around the squad for qualifiers to get him integrated but is it enough to take him to the Euros? I'm not sure tbh.

Gilmour has been one of the best players on the park every time he's played, recognise that he's maybe not played against top teams but he's still stood out against teams at higher levels than most. I'd want him in the team.

Don't see a problem in chucking him on for 15 mins if we need a goal and telling him to just do his thing - it's not as if he'll be keeping a better or more useful player out, and it's not as if we're expected to do anything in this tournament.

Did you have one before or is that through the scotland allocation?

I had tickets for two games at hampden, but obviously thats getting cut. However, I've not had anything back from uefa and apparently the refunds for some games have been announced and processed. One of my mates is in the same situation but we don't know if that means we have tickets or the ballot is still to take place for the Hampden games.

I kind of agree, but the Man City second string he played at the weekend was the first decent outfit he's played against since last season. I'd probably have him in the initial extended squad and see how he gets on but it could be a bit of a kick in the teeth for whoever gets left out for a boy who's played youth football for a year.

Is he not a sitting midfielder?

Think he is centre mid, but he's got a good eye for a pass and can beat a man. A highlight video I've just watched showed him taking balls all over the midfield, beating the press and passing it on to a runner or a man in space.

Jack and Mclean out and Mcgregor off the boil (albeit he has been good for Scotland), I wonder if Gilmour is suddenly pushing for a starting place..

We've got some decent players in the middle but having someone like Gilmour who goes looking for the ball and can pick a forward pass out would be handy to have. Think McTominay is probably the only one that fits that mould and Clarke seems to want to play him in a back 3 so think Gilmour would be handy to have. I'd at least be playing him in the warm ups to try him out. Got nothing to really lose at this point, who's the alternative for that position in the squad now?

Mcburnie arrested for that pager in the video. Is he out with injury too? Hopefully this makes him to toxic to pick.

Gilmour should be there but not a nailed on starter. McTominay should play alongside McGregor with Mcginn further up

In a normal situation I'd probably agree but 2 guys in his position (sort of) are out and the squad has been extended so his lucks in. Who else would you take ahead of him?

He's probably going to be our best player for the next decade so just giving him that experience will be invaluable for us in the long term.
