Just like Cathro, Macphee obviously a good coach who just doesn't suit the limelight of manager/assistant.

Cathro is different, MacPhee has benefited from this modern trend that a manager requires an entourage of plebs. When he was given a meaty coaching job with real responsibility at Hearts he was a fraud.

If he's going to be on his macbook reviewing 500 set pieces around the globe and handing his homework into Villa and the Scottish national setup then fine, but then agsin set piece pish he tried with us was fucking wank.

Stuart Armstrong has been injured and not played a game, don't bring him along.

Not overly concerned about the rest of the squad although that centre of defence could do with an improvement. Not sure why Souttar isn't getting a call up ahead of Gallagher.

Agree about Souttar but the issue with this team is still getting goals not the defence. Clarke will get them firing in crosses to no one again.

Souttar should be there for sure ahead of Gallagher, or maybe Taylor assuming Tierney and Robbo are both actually fit.

If you're going on form then ralston should be in the mix. O'Donnell isn't the future at RB and Patterson hasn't been getting a game.

Agreed souttar should be getting the nod at CB too, although also slightly happy he's not going to risk an injury Laugh
