How can you not get your head around it? That Tierney guy did orite as lb for Celtic. Being a Bologna reserve isn't the pinnacle of football

Of course it's not the pinnacle of football, but if you're making the jump from Hearts to Bologna and getting first team football in Serie A (even if you've ended up as a back up after injury), resulting in other interest from bigger teams there, why would you jump back to the Old Firm at the first chance? If that's his ambition, fair enough but it's the attitude that's holding us back as a country on an international stage. We need more players going abroad and not just aspiring to play for Rangers or Celtic.

Hopefully his ambition is to get in the Scotland squad and a move to a big premier league side like the last scottish left back that moved on from Celtic.

What he needs is games and ideally european football. No reason why him and Nathan Patterson can't kick on.
