Nothing against Fox, but a new manager needs a clean slate. Should have done that several managers ago

It’s a real shame that Foxy is a casualty in all this because he has stepped in twice and steadied the ship well. I hope his experiences with us have served him well and he will go on to be a good head coach.
We are doing the right thing sweeping the decks completely though. I wonder if Gallagher the GL coach will be launched too. Would maybe be a good transition point for Gordon. They must be very confident of getting this all over the line on Monday if they are letting us know Foxy is gone now. I still don’t trust Budge to not put a spanner in the works TBH.

How has that comment even come about
Did a hearts journo contact him?

The guy could barely speak English and wasn't allowed any of his own staff.
It wasn't the easiest gig.

Cathro is up there, but that can also be down to inexperience. He's shown what he can do since then. Stendel's been shite since he downed some shots in a Barnsley boozer

Critchley is easily the worst Hearts coach of the Budge era, and it isn’t even close. Absolute dug meat and didn’t have the ability to make a difference. He will be lucky to get another job in football - shift manager at Morrisons next.
Cathro went from head coach at Hearts to following Nuno about taking first team training in the EPL, etc. Stendel managed to coach teams to the extent they could beat teams/squad that were better than us.

Stendel managed to have us beat Rangers and Hibs, he wasn't great but at least we had a chance in a meaningful game.

Rangers and Hibs were the only teams he beat which is mad
shambles in every other game. A home game against Hamilton sticks out where we were on for a 0-5 drubbing until their kid defender got himself sent off.

The players defo needed motivated for those ties this season fs

A beautiful day. The relief when we took the lead. It really should have been 10 though.

Probably the best day ever tbh.
You don't realise it fully at the time but I don't think it gets any better than that. |
