It's not daft at all man, my old boy is the exact same. Doesn't want another dog, just wants his dog back.

My brother brought his Newfoundland puppy down for a visit a few months back and my old man was giving it large about how big a commitment it is and how it'll just dictate everything they do going forward as they'll never be able to get anyone to look after him.

My brother said to him, you managed alright with Floyd, and my old man started welling up and told him it's not the same and just buggered off out for a walk.

First night I've been able to take her to the park fully off lead and didn't have to get that big long line nonsense thing out jjay

The recall is 100x better but she is sometimes a bit of a radge and runs off after other dugs (and bairns playing with footballs Eek

) and just doesn't listen at all.
