Can you change online? Forgot all about it.
06-13-2017, 12:26 PM

Boy at work's pal waited 2hrs in a queue
06-13-2017, 01:10 PM
What's this queue for? I assume a new phase of ST sales, but can you not do whatever it is online?
06-13-2017, 01:11 PM
Surely half an hour is about the time limit you'd give it before just leaving it if you're nowhere near getting served, I can't even imagine standing in a queue for 2 hours.

SNP and Tories have teamed up to reintroduce tail docking in Scotland
06-14-2017, 11:47 AM
It's only for 2 specific breeds of working dog.
No idea why but apparently it's very common that the dog will need to get its tail amputated later on in life, so docking the tail prevents the pain for the dog later on. Only vets are allowed to do it and there needs to be clear evidence that the dog is going to be used as a working dog.

Shocked to see morph being an apologist. It's barbaric and the Gov done next to no research in to it. Why is this even parliamentary important with everything else going on.
06-14-2017, 11:57 AM
I don't really know much about it, I was just saying it's for 2 specific breeds of working dog rather than being able to lop of some poor pugs tail.

If a VET has the final say, and it's for the dogs own welfare, I'm not sure I have a problem tbh.

As far as I'm aware if you're desperate for a dog with a docked tail for cosmetic reasons most people just approach breeders in Ireland, then bring the dogs over here.
I've never really understood why people think it looks better. Is it a scaffy persons thing?

First time I seen a Rottweiler with a tail I thought it looked strange. That's just because I was used to seeing them without though.

It's still blatantly being done. Go down bellahouston park and there are loads of wee bull types who have been docked, dobermans and that. Was genuinely shocked when I saw a doberman who hadn't had its ears cropped as well.

Cruel as fuck - unless specific working dog on a farm, there might be a possible argument in favour. |
