Met this lovely wee dog called Elmo in the park today. He came over to hang out with me for a minute until this Dad and toddler approached.
Elmo scampered towards the wee boy at full pelt and stopped dead about a foot from the boy - the wee boy shat it and took a few steps backwards and fell on his arse - dropping his sausage roll in the process. Elmo scoffed the roll ![]()

Yeah he's a lab. Kinda fox red/yellow hybrid really. Honestly can't believe how calm he's been for a first day or so. I've not heard him whine or bark apart from the first 10 minutes on the drive home. Vets today though

Are you using a cage? How is he in it if so?
If you have an ipad or anything you can gets apps that let you record him so you can see when he's tearing up the house when you're out

I've got a crate but he enjoys going in it just now so I don't want to ruin that by shutting him in it. I'll lock him in the hall with the crate door open and see how it goes. Worst case he shits the floor and tears the skirting board off

I think he will be fine. And if he's not, it's only a house.
Will genuinely be thinking about him, so report back.

He was absolutely sound. Came back to the house and he was just sitting chilled in his crate yawning
![]() Followed it up by headering a prickly rose bush though. Don't think he'll do that again

![]() Kongs are decent, although Hovis worked out how to empty them so they only lasted about 5 minutes.

Sounds like he's well behaved. Mines was a fucking nightmare for about the first 6 months
